This rubber is made from recycled car and truck tyres where the wire and impurities have been removed. The material is then shredded and bonded together. From this recycled mass, a slice of controlled thickness can be produced giving a sheet ready for production. The resulting knife marks can just be seen crossing the surface when viewed at an angle where they catch the light. The sheet has a firm surface. It is flexible and spongy with only a slight rubbery smell. The aroma of rubber does not linger on your skin when handling.
Wallets are produced in 2mm thick recycled tyres with press studs for fastening the spongy material. Binders are produced in 4mm thick recycled tyres and can have a label attached. Various styles of folder in any size can be produced in this recycled rubber with the thickness made to suit the application.
The products are recyclable.
